First lesson in 3 minutes.
This guide covers everything from logging in to seeing live results. It takes about three minutes to read and roughly the same to set up.
Log in to your dashboard
Your school administrator will have created your account and sent you a login link. If you haven't received one, contact your IT administrator or email teacher support.
Once logged in, you'll land on your class overview. Your classes should already be set up — if not, your admin can add them.

Browse the activity library
Click Activity Library in the left sidebar. You'll see all activities available for your curriculum, organised by topic and difficulty.
Each activity shows:
- · Activity type (written, spoken, multiple choice, etc.)
- · Estimated completion time
- · Curriculum topic and difficulty level
- · How your class has performed on it previously (if used before)
Assign to your class
Click Assign on any activity. Select your class (or individual students), set a due date if you want one, and click Assign.
Students are notified immediately if they're logged in. The activity appears at the top of their task list.
Watch results come in live
Go to Class Activity in the sidebar. As students submit, you'll see scores, completion times, and individual responses in real time — no refresh needed.
ClassGrade grades everything the moment it's submitted. You can review any response and override the grade if needed.
Tip: at-risk alerts
If a student is struggling — consistently low scores or long time-on-task — you'll see a flag next to their name. Click it to see the full pattern.
Share progress with parents
From any student's profile, click Generate Parent Report. ClassGrade produces a plain-language summary of their progress, ready to send or print.
You can also enable parent access so they can log in and check their child's progress themselves — no extra work for you.
Something not working? Can't find your class? We'll sort it out quickly.
